Website monitoring that confirms an outage before it alerts you
Private beta. There is no sign-up yet, so you cannot add a site today.
KeenCrow checks that your website is reachable, that its domain name can still be looked up and that its certificate is in order. It emails you when an outage is confirmed and again when the site recovers.
What is checked
Whether your site answers. KeenCrow requests your web address, over HTTP or HTTPS, to see whether it answers.
DNS. DNS turns your domain name into the address of your server. KeenCrow checks that this lookup still works.
TLS certificate. This is the certificate behind the padlock in the browser. KeenCrow checks that it is valid, that it matches your domain name and when it expires.
How false alarms are avoided
One failed check never sends an alert. A failure is checked again about 20 seconds later, and once more about 30 seconds after that. Only three failures in a row confirm an outage. Two good checks in a row confirm recovery.
What the service sends
- One email when an outage is confirmed.
- One email when the site recovers.
- No repeated alerts during the same incident.
- A warning 7, 3 and 1 days before a certificate expires.
- A warning when a site that is still reachable becomes consistently slow.
All alerts are sent by email.
Limits worth knowing
Checks run from a single location. A result shows how your site looks from that location, not from everywhere.
The monitoring is ordinary, predictable software. It does not depend on AI. Plain English explanations of incidents, written with AI assistance, are planned and not available yet.
Where the service stands
The service is in private beta. There is no sign-up, no customer accounts, no payments and no dashboard yet.
